The Buldges (MD side, Area #)

A nice face with both beginners and advanced routes.

Cupid's Arrow (MD side, Area #)

Located on an island just upstream of the Anchor Inn. We had fun naming various routes by their degree of difficulty: Prerequisite, Associates, Bachleors (Freshman -> Senior), Masters, PhD.

Carderock, MD

Bouldering:

After you scramble down the path to the river, go left (downstream.) Just past the smooth wall area is a face that looks like a cascading waterfall (Just left of a triangular overhang.) This is where "Route 1" starts." Route II" is further down, just around the corner.

They can give a great workout - Do Route I then II, then go backwards through II and I. Rinse. Repeat. (There are a couple other shorter moves in between, and other variations on the routes shown, of course.)
